Out Of A Wheelchair
I am a sixteen year old junior who had been dealing with seizures since the sixth grade. I went from doctor to doctor with no clear answers.
I love to run, be outside, and spend time with friends and family. I’ve always been outgoing. But dealing with this condition slowly took all of that away from me. It reached a point where I was genuinely worried about whether I would even be able to finish high school.
Then this past March, everything changed.
I suddenly became paralyzed from the waist down and was confined to a wheelchair for nearly two months. It was terrifying. During that time, a close friend encouraged my mom to take me to Marshall Spinal Care. A few days later, my mom made the appointment.
When we arrived, I received care. When it was finished, I stood up on my own.
My mom, my godmother, and everyone in the room were overwhelmed with emotion. We all began to cry at the same time. The only thing I could think about in that moment was how strongly I felt the peace and presence of God.
I witnessed God work through Marshall Spinal Care and bring healing right in front of us.
The reason I am sharing this is so people know that God is alive and still heals. He works through people every day. In my situation, I had to reach rock bottom first, but I truly believe God never allowed my family or me to face something we couldn’t handle. When we needed direction the most, He showed us the way, and for that I am eternally grateful.
It doesn’t matter how old you are. God still has a purpose for your life.
This is my testimony. I was healed. I got my legs back. And what God did for me, He can do for others too.
Since beginning care, my seizures have completely stopped. I am no longer in a wheelchair, and today I am attending college and working toward my degree.
