I Can Stand On My Feet Now

For more than twenty five years, I struggled with pain and swelling in my right foot. I was told it was a bad sprain and that it would simply take time to heal. Over the years, the pain never truly went away, and last Christmas it reached a breaking point. I could no longer stand for very long and found myself sitting on the floor in long checkout lines just to get through my shopping.

I tried everything. I purchased shoe inserts that cost over five hundred dollars, but they didn’t help. In January, I went to another podiatrist hoping for answers. I received four cortisone injections in my right ankle, which helped temporarily but did not resolve the issue. An MRI later revealed that surgery would be required. I scheduled the procedure for September.

Before the surgery could happen, my mother passed away from lung cancer, and everything was put on hold. As I was preparing to reschedule the surgery, I had a dream. I heard my mother’s voice clearly say, “Susie, I’m afraid you’ll wind up a cripple.” When I woke up that morning, I knew I needed to do something different.

Marshall Spinal Care had helped my daughter with her leg and my husband with his back, so I stopped by the office. When I was evaluated, I learned that my body was significantly out of alignment. I was told that care could help, and I scheduled an appointment.

What happened next felt nothing short of miraculous.

During my first treatment, I could feel things shifting and settling into place. When I stood up, I felt light headed, but the pain in my foot was completely gone. I was no longer limping. As care continued, I noticed even more changes. Pain in my shoulders, knees, hips, and back disappeared. I realized I had stopped taking sinus medication altogether.

The greatest change of all was this: I could stand on my right leg again without pain or weakness. I no longer feared falling. That freedom is something I don’t take lightly.

Now, I can recognize when my body needs care. A small, familiar ache lets me know it’s time, and addressing it early makes all the difference.

I am deeply grateful to everyone at Marshall Spinal Care for the care, compassion, and healing I have experienced. Thank you for being here and for helping people like me find relief and hope again.

With sincere thanks,
Susan B.
